Systemic sclerosis (scleroderma)

According to Henry W. Wright

Possible spiritual roots

Wright identifies conflict with one’s identity, extreme self-rejection, self-hatred, and strong feelings of guilt.

In the author’s account: Inward conflict is said to be reflected in an autoimmune response directed against the body’s own tissues.

Spiritual response

Name the sources of self-rejection; entrust shame and accusation to Jesus; renounce self-hatred and false guilt; forgive oneself and others; receive God’s love and identity; pray for healing of the tissues and immune system.
