De Oppresso Liber — Biblical Deliverance and Healing Ministry
God has not changed. His Gospel has lost none of its power. His call to repentance still stands.
We know that Jesus Christ is alive and at work today. He still saves, delivers, heals and transforms lives. The same Holy Spirit who led the first disciples continues to lead His Church today. The life described in the Book of Acts remains a call to faith, obedience and action for us.
Our mission is to stir Christians to return to their roots: sincere repentance, turning away from sin, persistently seeking God and complete surrender to Jesus. To continuing in the apostles’ teaching, prayer and fellowship. To proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples and serving people in the love and power of the Holy Spirit.
We distance ourselves from the widespread “revivals” and awakenings that rest on emotions rather than sincere repentance, holiness, love and lasting transformation of life. No Christian show can replace repentance, and even the most moving experience cannot replace daily obedience to Jesus.
We want to proclaim the whole Gospel — with its promises and demands, its grace and its call to repentance. We oppose watering down its message and keeping silent about truths that call for a change of life. We proclaim Jesus as Saviour and Lord, to whom we entrust our whole lives.
We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit have not ceased and are still needed by the Church today. We eagerly seek them, develop them and learn to use them to serve in love, in accordance with God’s Word and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to build up the Church and help people.
We neither chase after power nor focus on the gifts more than on their Giver. Jesus Christ always remains at the centre of our faith and ministry. The gifts and power of the Holy Spirit serve to glorify Jesus and build up His Church.
We regard deliverance and healing as one ministry, grounded above all in God’s Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We want to lead people into freedom in Christ and support them as they mature as His disciples.
We draw on Pastor Mieczysław Żmuda’s experience, as well as the materials and experience of other ministries. We examine everything in the light of God’s Word, relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
We serve Christians from different fellowships and denominations. We encourage believers to live responsibly within their church communities and to serve wherever God has placed them.
Our roots are in the “Nowy Początek” congregation in Bielawa, which belongs to the Kościół Chrześcijan Wiary Ewangelicznej. We serve with the knowledge and consent of the church leadership.
True freedom is found only in Jesus Christ.
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be truly free.”
John 8:36
