Cookies and Device Storage
The website uses cookies and browser storage. We do not use advertising cookies or marketing tracking. The information below also covers other records stored on your device.
1. What we store and for how long
Admin sign-in — a session cookie is used to maintain sign-in. It is intended for the browser session; sign-in duration is limited separately. The public Library does not require an account.
Form and personal records — answers, progress, notes, a pending submission or correction, and private access details. These records have no automatic local expiry. Pending records are removed after the result has been confirmed and saved, or following certain errors. If the submission result is uncertain, they may remain on your device.
Library and preferences — language, favourites, personal card markers, listening queue and display settings. They remain until changed or deleted. Temporary session records relate to the particular browser tab’s session.
App files — interface files, images and public materials stored for reuse. They are refreshed during updates or removed with site data. Questionnaire answers are stored separately.
Notices — a record that you dismissed information and your choices about its display. The record remains until site data is deleted or it is replaced by another choice or notice version.
2. Personal information on your device
The app does not encrypt local answers, notes, pending submissions or private access details. “I recognise this in myself” markers also concern your personal situation. Anyone with access to your unlocked device may be able to read this information.
3. Choice and consent
“Understood” dismisses the notice. It is not consent to submit a request or to additional processing purposes. Sending the questionnaire requires separate confirmation of consent.
Voice search and notifications are enabled separately. See “Privacy” for information about the data and providers involved in these features.
4. Deletion and settings
You can block cookies and delete site data in your browser settings. This may remove local answers and settings, sign you out of the admin area or limit a selected function.
Deleting the form removes its saved records, notes and associated pending records, but not all Library data. Delete downloaded summaries and your own copies separately.
Deleting device data does not delete a request from the server. Removing the app shortcut alone does not guarantee deletion of site data and downloaded files. See “Privacy” for rules about submitted data and your rights. Contact: kontakt@deopressoliber.org.
