Hives
According to Henry W. Wright
Wright discusses hives in his teaching on the skin and in his own testimony. He links them to fear, anxiety and stress; in his own story he points to fear of people, failure and rejection.
A situation that triggers fear, anxiety or intense stress. In Wright's personal example, these were fear of people, fear of failure and fear of rejection.
Fear and anxiety begin to dominate over peace. Wright describes this process as a disturbance passing through his spirit–soul–body framework.
Wright connects fear, anxiety and stress to the skin's response and processes involving histamine. In his testimony he describes the skin reaction appearing very rapidly.
Hives: itchy wheals or skin eruptions appearing as a visible response of the body.
Spiritual response
Recognise the fear; take responsibility for one's own reaction; repent; resist fear; receive God's peace and pray for the skin to be calmed and healed.
