Acne

Possible spiritual roots

Fear of people and fear of rejection.

Peer pressure, fear of judgment, and intense preoccupation with appearance.

A sense of worth and security depends on what others think.

Wright connects increasing fear and anxiety with changes in the histamine response and a reaction in the skin.

Ordinary acne, especially adolescent acne; cystic acne has a distinct profile.

Spiritual response

Reject fear of people and receive God’s love, acceptance, and identity in Christ.
